In this collection, Martin Akwari attempts to bring to life his love for poetry. Under it's original title "Sounds from the Seasons of Life" part of the collection of poems was listed in a national Poetry Prize in his native, Nigeria in 1987.
From those early years to the present these poems still resonate with life, and lure the mind to take deep spiritual journeys into scenes and images which he creates and displays as a market place, from line to line and page to page.
Readers could, with careful attention, relate with these scenes, images, words, and carry on with creating their own stories from there. That will be a strong point for this collection.
